The adventure started roughly, as we were so late to reach Sikles, consequently, the trek turned out to be a night trek. The journey started from Sikles at 5:30 pm. Our biggest challenge was to navigate the trial under the shroud of darkness and to stay safe from wild animals lurking at dark. Villagers told us it was so risky to hike after sunset, as there was some sight of wild bear and leopard in the forest before. It adds the thrill and danger to our expedition. We bought a torch and we were like " Gaidim gaidim, bachiyo vane ta history create hunxa, maza aauxa". Hiking non-stop through the dark in between the woods of Annapurna region, in that cold night, going up the hill and coming down the hill, jumping from rock to rock in the steep, we completed our hike 1 hour before expected time, we finally reached Hugu at 9 pm, safely. My thigh was so numb that I had to stop for some minutes on the way to recharge my energy. We did camping at Hugu that day with the clear view of starry night, star trial, milky way galaxy and the moon, of course. Next morning, we reached Kapuche at around 11 am. And what a view we had. The blue lake surrounded by mountains and forest. The symphony of ice breaking and water cascading somewhere inside the mountain we cannot see, was unexpected and unforgettable experience. And when we were almost returning from the lake, we heard a thunderous cracked echoed through the mountain. Within a minute, we saw something that made us go WOOOOO, the avalanche just broke and snow slides down like fog floating in the air and coming out of the hill. We enjoyed the view for some minutes and returned back. That day, amidst the soothing melody of springs, chirping of birds and gentle rustle of wind, we hiked back to Sikles. It happened that the entire village knew us. We discovered this when the hotel owner introduced us to his friend saying,” Yei vai haru ho hizo raati raati Hugu Hideko.” We rode back from Sikles on a completely off-road route the following day, reaching Pokhara. After spending some time in Pokhara, we travelled to Bandipur and stayed overnight. The next day marked the end of our journey as we returned home.

What an unparalleled experience ! What an incredible trip !!
